The SDGsConnected Leadership: Award-winning leadership course in Sierra Leone
Connected Leadership is FANT's award-winning leadership course in Sierra Leone. At Connected Leadership, we invite business leaders on a unique journey that challenges their view of leadership – and of the world.
About Connected Leadership
Do you dare to let go of your ideas and biases about the world? And are you open to seeing the people around you in a new way? Join Connected Leadership in Sierra Leone and experience the world from a new perspective. More than 80 leaders have already joined the journey. Will you be next?
Connected Leadership offers Danish and international companies a unique meeting with local leaders and business owners in Sierra Leone. It gives you as a participant new insights, inspiration and tools to develop your skills as a leader. At the same time, companies are actively working with SDG 17, Partnerships for the Goals, in the meeting with FANT Sierra Leone, Disability Sport Network and their local communities. In 2025, the leadership course received CISU's Initiative Award.
Together with Steve Hall and FANT's Cecilie Hauerberg, Western leaders meet with young people, local role models, entrepreneurs, and other actors in Sierra Leone. Participants return home with new perspectives, ideas, and tools for the benefit of their companies and employees.

Cultivates and nurtures the connection between leader and employee
Connected Leadership equips leaders with tools that put them in closer connection with the people they lead. The leadership course strengthens the relationship between employees and your organisation's purpose. Not least, Connected Leadership fosters a connection between your company, yourself as a leader, and your personal values.
Good leadership is not taught in a classroom. On FANT's five-day leadership course, Connected Leadership, we move out of the safe and well-known surroundings and into a completely different environment. We do this to see the world from a different perspective. We need to immerse ourselves to gain greater self-insight.
At Connected Leadership, we work with you and the leadership role. We take a deep dive into actual situations rather than in theory and give you the opportunity to see your current approach to leadership, goals, and impact in a new way. We provide space for the reflection necessary to understand who you want to be as a leader and how to best develop your leadership potential.
Over the course of five days, Connected Leadership ignites greater self-insight, new skills, and a different view of the world. As such, the course forms the basis for you to become a more connected leader.
