Connected Leadership and the Sustainable Development Goals

Quality education
Connected Leadership supports the ambitions of Sustainable Development Goal 4, "Quality Education." The goal is to ensure education and promote learning opportunities for all.
Connected Leadership speaks especially to lifelong learning. We appeal to managers regardless of seniority to participate in the course. Because we know that the teaching material and the framework in Sierra Leone contribute to new perspectives on and experiences of the world and the people around us.
These are learnings that all managers can – and should – take with them to the companies and people they are going to lead.
Partnerships for the goals
Connected Leadership also supports the ambitions under Sustainable Development Goal 17, "Partnerships for the Goals." The SDG is about strengthening global partnerships for sustainable development and increasing the means to achieve the goals.
At Connected Leadership, FANT connects civil society and private companies. We connect the local environment with the international community. And we emphasise that it is possible for guests from the North to learn from our partners in the Global South.
As a participant, during the course you will establish new relationships – with FANT, the other participants, and the local community. In the long term, the relationships between and across the participants' companies and FANT can contribute to strengthening sustainable development in West African communities.
FANT and the Sustainable Development Goals
Connected Leadership is facilitated by FANT, an ambitious NGO with a secretariat in Denmark. FANT is dedicated to creating meaningful and healthy communities for children, adolescents, and marginalised people. We work responsibly with local partners and initiatives in Sierra Leone, Ghana, The Gambia, Denmark, and Ukraine.
